John Main Seminar 2003 - Speakers Panel on Bede Griffiths

A prophetic pioneer of inter-religious dialogue, a courageous voice for justice and truth on all issues, a Christian monk and mystic of profound depth, a much-loved spiritual father and friend, Bede Griffiths has still many riches to reveal in his vision of the future of Christianity and of the spiritual consciousness of humanity.To do justice to his multi-faceted personality and his comprehensive vision a number of speakers came together to present the Seminar:

Andrew Harvey
Writer and teacher of the spiritual path, who also knew Fr Bede and interviewed him for the final films made of his life and teaching, author of "The Direct Path" and many other works.

Shirley du Boulay
Author of the acclaimed biography of Bede Griffiths, "Beyond the Darkness"

Bruno Barnhart OSB Cam
A Benedictine Camaldolese monk from Big Sur, California, a friend of Fr Bede, a scholar of his work and compiler of the anthology "The One Light".
