John Main Seminar 2004 - Joan Chittister OSB

Participants prepared for meditation following one of the conferences by Sister Joan.

Breaks during the Seminar gave participants -- and presenters -- time to get acquainted and plan ways to bring the fruits of their time together back to their families and communities.

Participants gathered from all over the world. Many have returned year after year and have developed lasting friendships.

During the Seminar, Father Laurence offered Mass -- marked by contemplative music, deep silence, and a period of meditation following communion.

Having come from all corners of the world, National Coordinators were commissioned during the closing ceremony to return to their communities carrying the light of their new experience and the love of the entire World Community with them.
