Pre-Seminar Silent Retreat - August 7-10, 2006

"Harmony in the Soul"
The Seminar will be preceded by a silent retreat led by Laurence Freeman OSB, Director of The World Community for Christian Meditation (WCCM). Fr. Laurence will explore the meaning of inner peace and how we must first of all face our inner conflicts and disharmonies before finding that 'Christ himself is our peace'. This inner harmony then spreads outwards into our lives and we see how meditation, the prayer of the heart, can change the world.

A Pilgrimage to sacred sites in the area will be led by Margaret and Father Laurence Aug, 14-16 -- including sites where John Main visited, especially where he learned to meditate while he served in the British Foreign Service in Malaysia.
