The philosopher Charles Taylor, from Canada, lectured on the connection between meditation and faith in modern society on the 15th April at Georgetown University, Washington DC. A practicing meditator in the Christian tradition, Taylor began the evening’s event with a short meditation. Fr. Laurence Freeman moderated a discussion after the formal lecture.
